Minnesota and Seattle are contenders and not pretenders like Sf,St.Louis,Giants,Atlanta,Green Bay,and New Orleans.Philly is on the border line for 2 more weeks.Yes Minnesota and Seattle will have to deal with Tampa Bay.But other than these 3 teams there is water all over the place.Minnesota's defense is starting to take form and Culpepper is learning how to hold the ball as he now has crazy glue in his pocket.The game yesterday was a trap or setup as everybody knows Minnesota is a bad road favorite and Detroit had their number.But they responded after giving up 10 points.Back for more.

captain #5 - Easy now big fella..... Minnesota won the first week because Favre threw 4 INT's. They barely beat the Bears the second week and barely beat Detroit this week. (combined records of 2-6) The Bears and Detroit are terrible teams and we all saw what AZ did to GB this week.
As far as the Seahawks go, I agree they might be a good team but they beat AZ, NO, and STL. (combined records of 3-6)
Way to early to call these teams SuperBowl contenders. Playoffs maybe, but that's also due to their exremely weak divisions.
If Seattle was still in the AFC West, they would finish 3rd or 4th at best. If Tampa Bay was still in Minnesota's division Minnesota would finish 2nd or 3rd.
They may be good teams but lets not jump the gun just because they have played 5 crappy teams and another team that had an off day.

K-man, Minnesota just doesn't win road games over the past few years.But they have already won 2 games on the road.Green Bay before the year was a contender for the super bowl according to some reports.Minnesota is a playoff team along with Seattle.You brought if this team had Tampa in their division and if Seattle was in the AFC west,etc., but that is not the case, so the boys are in the driver seat in their divisions.
Seattle has the best recievers in the game today.Robinson,Jackson,and Ingram are just as good as the Rams corps 3 years ago of Bruce,Holt,and Horn.

Minnesota won week one because Brett Farve threw 4 ints.Week 2 was Da Bears,Week 3 was the Pussy Cats (Denver had a easy time with), and week 4 was a non-playoff team SF.Now week 5 is Atlanta, week 6--win,week 7 -win,week 8-win,and week -9 at San Diego to start 9-0 while San Diego starts 0-9.
Bottom line bettors is don't wait until the value disappears on this team, because they have a super shot of being 9-0 and can march into December with a chance to be crowned NFC champ.

Tarnish or no tarnish, the Vikings are doing what they are capable of doing, just win baby.I have moved the Vikings up to 11-0 to start the season and get the test in week 12 at the Rams.At the begining of the year I had the Vikings down for 3 losses leading up to the Ram game.Losses at Atlanta,San Diego,and the Raiders.After the Ram game the Vikings follow up with Seattle at home,at Chicago,home to KC, and at Arizona.
The team does have the shot to run the schedule at 16-0.But 15-1 for the year and going into the playoffs without Dennis Green would keep any Viking supporters on the high.
The other nice thing about the Vikings right now besides having a real backup QB unlike other teams,they like to cover the number as they are 6-0 against the number.
They cover second half lines also.Champions do this!
